After retiring from teaching at Winthrop University in 2017, I devoted several years to writing and research leading to the publication in 2021 of my book, The Value of Drawing Instruction in the Visual Arts and Across Curricula: Historical Philosophical Arguments for Drawing in the Digital Age (London: Routledge).
Since then, I’ve given talks at conferences and started writing a blog about drawing, published by Psychology Today.
At the same time, I’ve also gotten back into making art and exhibiting my drawings and paintings.
